BICAR Write is a fundamental component of our para-academy. Establishment academe today divides thinking from writing, as though the capacity to think automatically takes care of the craft of articulating thought in written form. When writing, we’re told: ‘In case you’ve forgotten how to ride a bike, consult the Chicago Manual of Style before you submit your papers! Obey the various bots that correct grammar and syntax!’ Write rejects this division of labor, treating writing and thinking as interchangeable, indeed dialectically related and in need of a principled grounding.
