RAY BRASSIER

Ray Brassier is Professor of Philosophy at the American University of Beirut, Lebanon. He co-edited Alain Badiou's Theoretical Writings with Alberto Toscano (Continuum 2004). He is the translator of Badiou's St. Paul: The Foundation of Universalism (Stanford University Press 2003) and Quentin Meillassoux's After Finitude (Continuum 2008). His first book was Nihil Unbound: Enlightenment and Extinction (Palgrave Macmillan 2007). He has since published various articles on the work of Wilfrid Sellars and, more recently, Karl Marx. He is currently working on his second book, tentatively titled Fatelessness, which is about Marx, freedom, and fate.
