Bijoy Jain (b. 1965, Mumbai) founded Studio Mumbai in 1995. His work explores the boundaries between art, architecture and material. His studio operates as an interdisciplinary collective of architects, engineers, master builders, artisans, technicians and artists between India, Japan and Europe. Bijoy taught as visiting Professor at Yale University and the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. He currently teaches at the Academia of Architectura in Medrisio (Switzerland). His work has been exhibited in numerous galleries around the world and is in the collections of MOMA San Francisco and Centre Pompidou in Paris.
